Bryan Cheok

Bryan is one of STEP’s exceptional all-round talents — a versatile performer, natural leader and engaging instructor who brings equal strength to movement, performance and people. His foundation in acting, developed during his time at ACJC as President of ACSian Theatre, has shaped his ability to embody character, communicate emotion and command an audience with authenticity.

Having begun his formal dance training with STEP, Bryan has been part of the STEP FAM for 5 years and has grown into one of the company’s principal dancers, team training captain and a lead cast member across STEP productions. As a performer, he has represented STEP FAM on both local and international stages, contributing to the team’s competitive achievements including 4th Place at FINALS Germany 2025 and multiple finalist placements across Asia and Europe.

Beyond the stage, Bryan has continued to develop his leadership in dance. He served as NTU HOCC Hall Dance Captain in 2025 and Hall Dance Instructor in 2026, and has been a National Day Parade Dance Artiste from 2023–2025. His experience spans contemporary, commercial and performance-based work, allowing him to adapt comfortably to different styles, concepts and creative environments.

Known for being the one who brings energy into the room, Bryan has an infectious personality and a natural ability to motivate those around him. He brings this same quality into his teaching — creating an environment where dancers feel encouraged to push themselves, take risks and enjoy the process of growth. His strong stage presence and personable nature also make him a sought-after talent for commercial and performance work.
